Kevin is owner and President of MEDIATION INTERNATIONAL.

He is executive organizer for The World Mediation Summit-Madrid (www.worldmediationsummit.COM)

Kevin is a senior roster expert with United Nations (UNDP) for mediation and ADR facilitation and an internationally certified mediator with International Mediation Institute (IMI)
.
He provides conflict management services locally as well as on an international basis while being based in Madrid, Spain.

His services include; ombudsing, mediation, group needs analysis, conflict coaching, training courses, facilitation and more.

Kevin has over 25 rich and diverse years as a senior Alternative Dispute Resolution specialist, as a mediator/facilitator and as an academic theorist.

His background includes; a Masters degree in International Conflict Analysis and Management with Royal Roads University, Canada and he is currently completing his Ph.D in Conflict management and Mediation;

25+ years experience as a mediator; designer of ADR training programs, over 4000 hours facilitating ADR training programs.

Kevin currently provides mediation services with MEDIATION INTERNATIONAL and most recently offers mediation to the Canadian, USA, British, German, Irish, Israel, Afghanistan, Palestine and Egyptian Embassies in Madrid, Spain.

Kevin has significant experience in negotiation and leadership support working with international conflicts in Afghanistan, Thailand, Rwanda, Georgia, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Ukraine, Spain and Canada conducting mediations, conflict resolution courses and participatory monitoring and evaluation (M&E) interventions.

Leticia García Villaluenga, Doctor in Law by the Complutense University in Madrid (UCM). She has the Doctorate special award with the thesis on family mediation. She is Faculty-Titular lecturer in Civil Law at the UCM; Director of the Investigation on mediation and conflict management Academic Institute at the UCM (www.imedia-ucm.es); Director of the Mediation Specialist Postgraduate (www.mediacion-ucm.es) and Investigation Group in cooperative systems of conflict management in the UCM. President of the Network of Universities for the study of mediation and conflict (CUEMYC) .She is the Director of mediation courses at the Latin-American Complutense School; she was Chief Inspector at the UCM, where she developed the pioneer experience of university mediation. She is Director of competitive investigation projects. Author of numerous mediation and family Law publications: monographs, articles, and book chapters. These include the participation in the book "Le ragioni degli altri" editorial published with the University of Florence. Director of the Mediation Collection, Reus publishing house and Mediation yearbook (scientific journal) of the same publishing house. Cofounder of the American-Iberoluso mediation net. Cofounder of the Net of Universities for the conflict and mediation study (CUEMYC); Member of the Mediation and Arbitration Institute in Portugal (IMAP). Honor Member of the Conflict Observatory of the Ombudsman in Buenos Aires (Argentina). She is member of the GEMME Assotiation (European group of judges for mediation in Spain); she has been Visiting Professor at the Sassari University (Cerdeña, Italy). She has done several investigation stays at prestigious Universities like Berkeley University (EEUU), Stanford University (EEUU), Florencia University, in association with The Istituto degli Innocenti (Innocenti Institute); Habana University (Cuba), Cartagena de Indias University (Colombia), Ambato’s Technical University (Ecuador). She is trained as Specialist in Organizational Mediation by the Florida University (EEUU) and as Family Mediation Specialist by the Islas Baleares University (Spain), furthermore, she is trained in “Theory and tools of the Harvard negotiation project”, at the Harvard University, Cambridge (EEUU). In 2013, The Forum XXI Century Europe, awarded her a gold medal for her career.

Emilio Navas is founder of the firm Parra & Asociados in Madrid www.abogados-mediacion.com
Lawyer at the University of Buenos Aires. Notary Registry titualr 990. Lawyer at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He received a doctorate in law at the University of Comillas and obtained his DEA in Roman law at the UNED.
He is currently an active independent mediator in the field of civil and commercial mediation, registered in the Register of Mediators of the Ministry of Justice.
Member of the Madrid Association of Mediators and Mediation Pactum International Association, was a speaker at the 2014 World Summit Mediation

A Law graduate from both France and the UK, Florence dedicated her professional career to humanitarian affairs advocacy, working for one of the biggest British NGO in London for several years. Her expertise has been to engage with policy makers and parliamentarians, and to find political solutions to human rights issues. This has led her to transition into the world of conflict resolution and peacebuilding, focusing in particular on mediation. She spent several months in Costa Rica working for an NGO involved in conflict mediation in Central America and recently spent time with the Spanish army preparing soldiers for NATO deployments. Florence also initially graduated in International Relations and worked in International Arbitration for a year before moving into advocacy.

Jessica Tallman is currently working for Mediation International as an intern while completing her Masters of International Communication with the Geert Hofstede Consortium with both Hanze University of Applied Science of Groningen, The Netherlands as well as IULM Universita of Milan, Italy.. Canadian born, she has lived and studied abroad for more than 10 years and has a developed a talent for intercultural mediation which she plans to pursue in the future. After graduation she plans to take her previous and current international experience and knowledge into the field of mediation.

Simone A Heuer

Simone graduated from law school at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich, Germany. She then completed a German-French dual degree in international management (MSc) at ESCP Paris, a French Grande Ecole, and is currently studying political science and sociology at Fernuniversität Hagen on a part-time basis. She also works as an EMT with the Order of Malta for humanitarian aid.

During her law studies she focused on International Law, ADR and negotiation. After representing her law school at international negotiation and mediation competitions, she underwent mediation training, got certified as a business mediator and then participated in advanced mediation courses.

Since her goal has always been an international career, she decided to study international business and management in Paris, Madrid and Berlin. Her focus lies on project management, organizational behavior and marketing. She wrote her master thesis on the underrepresentation of women in top management positions.

Simone is also working with Mediators beyond Borders (MBB) as the coordinator of the International Training Institute for women in peacebuilding functions. Moreover, she is part of the organizing committee of the World Mediation Summit, an annual international mediation conference in Madrid.

Simone is tri-lingual German/English/French and also speaks Spanish and Italian. She is a travel photographer (www.phototastic.world) and enjoys road biking, and decorating (www.decolicious.me).
